I’ve been working on some new embroidery projects on hand printed fabric… not entirely sure what I’m doing, but it’s really fun to just experiment!
I may have posted about this project before (can’t remember), but Lisa Congdon’s Collection a Day project is endlessly fascinating.
Another recent drawing I made. The bottom layer is this crazy silver silkscreen shape, I love that metallic ink.
I’ve been doing a lot of sumi ink drawings like this lately. Hope to post more later this week, after I get a chance to photograph them.
I’ve been working hard this month setting up a shop for my print studio, Flight 64. I’ve got it pretty well stocked now, so check out the Flight 64 Shop and see what my Portland printmaking friends have been up to (and buy some original art)!
*Above work by Josh Hulst, Misha Capecchi, Erin Dollar (me), Sean O’Connor, and Rebecca Boraz.
